Hi Jan, I'm so excited about this project and eagerly looking forward to more information about it.
ReplyDeleteI am really looking forward to this Exhibition! I am very interested in women in art, whether they be models, mistresses, wives or artists themselves.
ReplyDeleteAs a portrait and textile artist, I make soft sculpted muses of the women portrayed in art, including six Pre-Raphaelites to date. Each muse is researched and created individually as a soft sculpted figure ( or doll, although this is still a word I am avoiding), and has a recognisable face.
They measure 75cm-85 cm tall and are clothed in outfits inspired by the artist who painted them.
